I was surprised that you mentioned Foodland’s Poke.
After years of eating and enjoying their poke, I was surprised to find out that they use carbon monoxide in their poke. They sometimes have their ingrediemts displayed and one can read this. I love poke and want to eat only poke with natural fresh ingredients like the poke at Whole Foods in Kahului….check it out! May favorite is Tommy Bahamas Loke Loke Poke…amazingly good.
